Greetings, and Happy New Year!!
As we enter this new year, we still face the challenge of this COVID 19 virus. To keep our students and teachers safe we have leased another space next to our original classroom, and are able to run two separate classes at the same time. This allows us to maintain a proper 6′ of social distance between all our students. We are doing temperature checks upon arrival at the school, and asking the usual screening questions (which may not help much with most of the transmission being from asymptomatic people, but we’re doing it anyway)! Naturally, we will require masks to be worn by both our students and teachers.
We are still doing behind the wheel lessons, but we also have precautions in place. Upon arrival for BTW lessons students are temp checked, screened, and then asked to head to the bathroom to wash their hands for 20 seconds! We then give them Clorox wipes to wipe down all the touch surfaces in car they will be driving for their lesson. The teacher and student will both wear masks.
Let’s hope that we get this virus behind us and return to a more normal situation soon.
When should you sign up your teen for driving school
This includes behind the wheel test for state licensing. We meet the full requirements that the State of Tennessee mandates for testing, and we will NOT take any shortcuts in the program. Please don’t ask us to shorten the program…we will NOT violate state policies and procedures in any way!! In four short years we have become known as the best Knoxville driving school, and we strive to meet and exceed the state requirements and the needs of our clients.
How Will Driving School Improve Your Driving
Our curriculum follows the AAA “How to Drive” program, and enhances the program with additional video presentations and lively classroom discussion. The Tennessee Driver’s Handbook is used during class to emphasize the importance of learning the Tennessee driving laws. Students learn the importance of following all traffic laws; and consequences of not adhering to these laws.
Drive 4 Life Academy Is Different
While some programs exist only to provide a certificate that will get parents an insurance discount, the Drive 4 Life curriculum is tailored to provide all the tools that a young driver needs to make it safely through the critical first five years of driving. The instructors are certified to teach the AAA driver improvement program with two convenient locations, Knoxville Campus & Maryville Campus. Learn More

I would like to thank you for the excellent driver training that you have provided for my son, Alex. I believe the skill that you have taught him will last a lifetime.
Alex took your course shortly before his 16th birthday. He already had months of permit driving under his belt and felt that he would be able to pass the License Test without incident. However, after the 1st session at Drive 4 Life Academy he realized just how much he did not know about driving and Tennessee Motor Vehicle Laws.
His enthusiasm throughout the weeks of your course did not wane. I was very pleased to hear him repeat rules of the road, he learned from you, while he drove. After each class he would share the new things he learned by correcting some of my driving habits. I am thrilled we now have a driving school in Knoxville where young drivers can go and learn without being bored or intimidated.
His confidence level has been raised with the knowledge that you have provided him. I imagine he will remember your course throughout his driving life and will maintain the high standards you set for him.
Once again, thank you for your commitment to teaching young drivers in Knoxville.
I used to be a ‘teach yourself’ kind of guy but through experience have found great benefit in professional training, be that one hour, one lesson, or many hours and lessons. There is usually one key take-away from every class I’ve attended. In motorcycle rider education it was the position of my wrist on the throttle. In your class, it was how to adjust the mirrors to eliminate the blind-spot. I’ve passed that one on to many of my friends and they too are amazed. I feel much more confident that my son has the tools to be a safe driver as a result of your training program and would highly recommend it to new and experienced drivers as well.
Hi Mr. Greg, Mr. Tom, and Ms. Jodie,
Thank you for such a wonderful experience through your Drive 4 Life program. Thanks to you I can confidently say that I am a good driver. I plan to take all I have learned with me for the rest of my life.
